Tapping into our Neighborhood Resources
The Clintonville Neighborhood is extremely fortunate to have the assistance of the CRC, or Clintonville Community Resource Center. Located at 14 West Lakeview, the CRC provides this neighborhood with a wide variety of resources that are devoted to community betterment and help for individuals. The mission of this not-for-profit organization is to help improve social conditions by providing a range of services and promoting neighborly cooperation. With the help of up to 200 community volunteers annually, the CRC focuses on their 5 core values of: JUSTICE, ADAPTABILITY, EFFICIENCY, ENGAGEMENT, and DIGNITY. The CRC is able to work toward these 5 core values by providing the following services:
- Family Services - CRC provides a food pantry for individuals who live in the 43202 and 43214 zip codes. To qualify for the food pantry you need to provide the CRC with a recent utility bill or another proof of address. The CRC will also connect families to the Ohio Benefit Bank, which can help families with medical assistance, child care, food assistance, and energy assistance
- Children and Youth Services - The CRC provides families with a no-cost after-school program for children in grades K-5
- Senior Supportive Services - The CRC helps individuals over the age of 60 with grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, and health or safety related home maintenance and repairs
The Clintonville Community Resource Center always greatly appreciates donations. Individuals can also donate while they shop at their neighborhood Krogers just by registering their Kroger plus card. To register your card visit, krogercommunityrewards.com using CRC's number: 84574.
