Community Conversation and Meal

  • Local Matters 633 Parsons Avenue Columbus, OH, 43206 United States (map)

Topic: SNAP Benefits

There are already limits on how SNAP benefits (formerly known as food stamps) can be used. How well does SNAP cover people's needs, and how do potential restrictions, including limitations on what foods and drinks can be purchased, affect food access and those who use SNAP benefits?  Join us for a lively conversation about SNAP policy!

Community Conversations provide opportunities to discuss what you and others can do to effect change at home and in your community at large. Our conversations help you develop a stronger sense of what you want to accomplish related to healthy food access and food education, and foster a safe environment to explore those aspirations with others.
