Community Conversation and Meal

  • Local Matters 633 Parsons Avenue Columbus, OH, 43206 United States (map)

Topic: Grocery Shopping Now and in the Future

How can the community buy groceries when supermarkets are closing in our city, especially in areas of need? People still need food options as close to home as possible. How are people managing with this reality? Can new online and pick-up options be useful? What would help you, if the large grocery in your neighborhood closed?

Community Conversations provide opportunities to discuss what you and others can do to effect change at home and in your community at large. Our conversations help you develop a stronger sense of what you want to accomplish related to healthy food access and food education, and foster a safe environment to explore those aspirations with others.
