Community Conversation and Meal

  • Local Matters 633 Parsons Avenue Columbus, OH, 43206 United States (map)

Topic: Nutrition Information - Who Do You Trust?

With the vast amount of nutrition information available to us and constant changes in advice about what is healthy or not healthy, how do you make smart decisions when it comes to nutrition? Who or what do you trust and why? Nutrition labels? The USDA? Parents? Doctors?

Community Conversations provide opportunities to discuss what you and others can do to effect change at home and in your community at large. Our conversations help you develop a stronger sense of what you want to accomplish related to healthy food access and food education, and foster a safe environment to explore those aspirations with others.
