Other ways to donate
You shop. Amazon and Kroger give back. It’s that easy.
AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Local Matters every time you shop, at no additional cost. By signing in and shopping at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the same products and prices as Amazon.com, except that a portion of the purchase price will be donated to Local Matters.
How do I sign up for AmazonSmile?
Visit smile.amazon.com, sign in to your Amazon account and designate Local Matters as the non-profit you’d like to support. Remember, every time you shop, visit smile.amazon.com (rather than Amazon.com). It’s that easy!
Kroger Community Rewards
Link Local Matters to your Kroger Plus Card account so every time you shop, 1% of your total purchase will be donated to our organization. If you don’t have a Kroger Plus card you can get one at the Customer Service Desk at any Kroger store or you can create one online during the enrollment process.
How do I enroll in Kroger Community Rewards?
Click here to login to your account. Click “Enroll Now” to select a local organization you wish to support. (You can search for Local Matters or simply type in our code: 84230.) Once enrolled, you’ll earn rewards for Local Matters whenever you shop with your Plus Card.
Note: You must renew your selection once a year, during the month of August.
Employer Volunteer and Matching Gift Opportunities
Many companies provide time during the work day to allow for employees to volunteer their time with non-profit organizations, and at times, provide matching financial contributions. Check with your employer on their volunteering and matching policies…and come out and volunteer with us.
