Cooking Matters at the Store is a free, guided grocery store tour that provides tips and strategies to stretch food budgets while buying healthy food. During the tour, we will learn about buying fruits and vegetables on a budget, comparing unit prices, reading food labels, and identifying whole grain foods.
At the conclusion of the tour, we will ask you to assemble ingredients for a meal with all five food groups for under $10. When you complete the challenge, we will buy those approved foods for you to take home!
