November Topic
Food Access: Winter Break Means Hungry Holidays for Many Children

Many families across our community face difficulty accessing healthy food. This is often exacerbated during school holidays when children are not in school, where they usually receive breakfast and lunch. To compound this problem food banks and pantries are stretched to their limits during the holiday season. We will talk about what can we do to help make food available for our children when they are not in school.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay.

  • Conversation is from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, doors open at 5:30pm
