October Topic
Food Access: Improving Links Between Access and Education

How effective is nutrition education if students do not have access to the foods they learn to prepare, eat, and enjoy? Robust nutrition education for school-aged children and adults is vital to improving health and well-being in our communities. How do we ensure that nutrition education is supported and reinforced with convenient access to a variety of nutritious foods? Our conversation will focus on ideas for how to best connect nutrition education and access across our city and beyond.

  • Everyone is welcome, regardless of ability to pay or skill level.
  • Conversation is from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, doors open at 5:30pm
